Slice ‘n Dice

- Project Type: Team Project (School)
- Turnaround Time: 9-month development
- Genre: 2-player Fighting Game
- Year(s): Fall 2019 – Spring 2020
- Inspiration: Bushido Blade (1997)
- Engine / Language: Unity / C#

Concept: You play as various foods from the kitchen brought to life and made to fight in a life-or-death battle to see who isn’t going to be eaten…today. This game uses a fighting system similar to the Bushido Blade game series in which you are automatically guarding your front area. Fast movement and attacks open you up for deadly counters – leading to intense stare-downs and protracted duels as combatants aim to expose a weak point for that one decisive blow! Typically only one or two hits will end a fight. The game also features a “Slicing System” in which characters who are defeated are sliced to pieces based on where the 3D model of the weapon collides with them.
Blood and Soil

- Project Type: Personal Project
- Turnaround Time: Ongoing
- Genre: Single player visual novel & strategy game
- Year(s): Fall 2024 – Present
- Inspiration: The New Order: Last Days of Europe (Hearts of Iron IV mod)
- Engine / Language: Unity / C#
- GitHub: TBA (Private repository as of right now)
Concept: The year is 1960 – the Second World War ended in an Axis victory as the United States refused involvement. This has triggered a new conflict – the Cold War. Direct conflict is eschewed in favor of proxy wars and clever politicking. Because only one thing can come from World War 3 – the end of humanity. This game is designed to be half Visual Novel, and half strategy game. In a similar manner to many Hearts of Iron IV mods, players take control of a nation and guide its path and storyline in a variety of directions, attempting to maintain stability and diplomacy. This game project is ambitious as it features full playable content for the United States, Germany, and Japan from Jan. 1960 to Dec. 1971
This game uses AI assets to supplement me not having an artist (yet) to help with the project. It uses art generated by Midjourney and ambient background music generated using Suno.
